Yesterday was Kyleigh's first day of first grade and she definitely wasn't looking forward to it. We had a taco dinner at her house Monday night and I asked her to have mama take a picture in the morning (I have one for every year), but she said she wouldn't be smiling so I said she could do both a smiling picture aand one showing how she really felt. Here is the "happy" picture:

Since I'm on vacation this week and she only had a half day, I picked her up early. She had a good day and said she likes her teacher so far.
We made chocolate chip cookies and the David took her to recycle bottles and cans. She made $23.35 which will go straight into her savings account.
